Chief Operating Officer

Jason James joined USALCO as its Chief Operating Officer in February 2021, bringing with him a wealth of leadership experience in operations, supply chain management, engineering, and organizational transformation. As COO, Jason is responsible for overseeing the implementation of industry-leading manufacturing processes, cost controls, productivity optimization, and revenue maximization, while maintaining a strong focus on the safety of employees and the surrounding communities. In addition to his operational responsibilities, Jason is a key member of USALCO's Board of Directors, providing strategic guidance to the company’s long-term growth.

A recognized leader in the execution of complex supply chain initiatives, Jason has a proven track record in leading large, cross-functional teams across a wide range of industries. He excels at driving operational efficiencies through effective portfolio management, organizational design, and the deployment of lean manufacturing and productivity-enhancing strategies. With a deep expertise in managing global supply chain networks, he is adept at introducing new products, leading EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, and optimizing manufacturing processes.

Before joining USALCO, Jason had a distinguished career at Honeywell, where he held several senior leadership positions, including Vice President of Global Supply Chain and Vice President of Engineering and Functional Excellence. These roles afforded Jason extensive international experience, particularly in managing supply chain operations across China and the broader Far East. His tenure at Honeywell further honed his capabilities in leading complex global programs and driving operational excellence on a global scale.

Jason’s career also includes leadership roles in engineering and operational execution at Covanta, Linde, and BOC, where he was instrumental in overseeing key projects and operational initiatives. Furthermore, Jason served as a non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps Special Ops, where he developed a foundation of discipline, strategic thinking, and leadership that continues to inform his approach to business leadership.

In addition to his corporate and military experience, Jason has served as a Board Member of Harbison Walker International. He holds an MBA, a Master’s in Science, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, all from Stevens Institute of Technology.
