Vice President – Research and Development

Jim Dulko has been the Vice President of Research and Development at USALCO® for over two decades. Jim is a visionary leader who spearheads USALCO’s research and product pipeline by creating our companywide innovation agenda and discovering and developing transformational water treatment solutions. He also is responsible for the safety of all USALCO’s products.

Jim’s commitment to fueling innovation and finding the best science, wherever it exists, is the driving force behind the launch of several USALCO products which are the leading solutions in water treatment and technologies.

Jim’s career started with Delta Chemical, which in 2011 merged with USALCO. The combined company continued the successful use of a patented process to make a unique polyaluminum chloride coagulant, DelPAC 2020. Since the mid-1990s, this technology has served as the foundation for the extensive DelPAC® and Delta-Floc® series of custom coagulants. Today these coagulants have become the products of choice in well over 1,000 water treatment applications throughout the US.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Maryland. He is also the holder of many patents for his innovative work with aluminum-based chemicals used primarily in water and wastewater treatment processes and for the manufacturing of catalysts used by refineries.
