John Sobchak

In February 2021, John Sobchak joined USALCO® as its Chief Financial Officer to deepen its senior leadership team in conjunction with the company’s continuing growth. John is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership for USALCO, including ensuring the company creates, implements, and executes on capital structure and financial processes and controls to support the company’s growth and return on investment goals.

John has oversight and responsibility for all of USALCO’s finance-related functional areas, including accounting, treasury and risk management. John has a long history of leading the financial functions of successful, high-growth specialty chemical companies, including Gelest, AMPAC Fine Chemicals, and KMG Chemicals, Inc. As the CFO, John helped oversee strategic transformation and accelerate growth both organically and through acquisitions.

Mr. Sobchak graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art and received an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
