Aluminum Sulfate (Acidified)
USALCO Aluminum Sulfate Solution (Acidified) is produced by dissolving alumina trihydrate in water and sulfuric acid. Only the finest raw materials and advanced manufacturing techniques are used to ensure the top-notch quality of this product. USALCO Alum meets the specifications of the American Water Works Association Standard B403‐24 and is NSF/ANSI Standard 60 approved for the treatment of potable water.
USALCO® Aluminum Sulfate is widely used because it is a cost-effective, clear solution that mixes well with water treatment. It does not add color to the water treatment process. Another benefit of acid alum product is a marked improvement in the settled water filterability as less sludge is typically produced. The result is higher quality water at a reduced operating cost.
